The FISE next heads to the Canada, Edmonton, provincial capital. The FISE World crew will set up the ramps in the Hawrelak Park from September 15 to 17, 2017 for a program filled with MTB Slopestyle, Skateboarding, BMX Flatland and BMX Freestyle Park. Like in 2016, the FISE World Series are still the tour for the UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup.

As for MTB, like in Montpellier and Budapest, the Edmonton stopover is registered as a Gold stop in the Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour calendar.

As the third step of the FISE World Series, the Edmonton stop promises to be full of high stakes before the great final in Chengdu in November. For the second year in a row, this major Canadian city will host the world’s biggest action sports festival, from the 15th to the 17th of September, in William Hawrelak Park.

WORLD ACTION SPORTS FESTIVAL: The FISE is a World Action Sports Festival, which organizes amateur and professional competitions in the following disciplines: BMX Freestyle Park, BMX Freestyle Flatland, Skateboard, Mountain Bike and Roller Freestyle. Each stop of the tour is an opportunity for riders to perform for an overall ranking, which rewards the winner of each discipline at the end of the tour. Thanks to the core soul of the festival, FISE events are also an occasion for spectators to discover the world of action sports, thanks to many demos on location as well as watching some of the best athletes in the world compete and push their limits. The FISE events are also an opportunity to have a great time with friends and family, cruising around the site, exploring the exhibitor's area and enjoying the all the activities.

EDMONTON - THE TOUR'S ONLY NORTH AMERICAN STOP: Edmonton is a vibrant urban centre in the heart of the wilderness, the largest northernmost metropolis, and the capital of Alberta, Canada. As one of Canada’s youngest major cities, Edmonton shines as an arts and culture hub with festivals and events happening year round.

THE SPORTS: Just as the rest of the tour, the North American stop will host the UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup as well as a BMX Flatland competition. The Mountain Bike Slopestyle contest promises to be massive due to an incredible set up certified by the Freeride Mountain Bike Association (FMB). After a chill “Skateboard Out" Contest in FISE Budapest, skateboarding comes back to gather the best international riders of this discipline. Scooter lovers will also be able to battle for glory in an amateur competition.
